SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Nissan and LiCAP Technologies are teaming up to revolutionize electric vehicle batteries. Their new partnership will focus on scaling dry cathode electrode technology for all-solid-state batteries (ASSBs)—a game-changer for EV performance.
LiCAP’s Activated Dry Electrode® process skips solvents and streamlines production, making batteries cleaner, faster, and more cost-effective.
“This collaboration is about speed and scale,” said Dr. Linda Zhong, CEO of LiCAP. “With Nissan, we’re getting closer to bringing next-gen EV batteries to market.”
The alliance supports Nissan’s Ambition 2030 plan to deliver cleaner, more sustainable vehicles worldwide.
