EarFun has unveiled its latest high-end over-ear headphones, the Wave Pro X, at the IFA 2026 event in Berlin. These new headphones boast a combination of innovative features including dual-driver audio technology, hybrid active noise cancellation, AI-based processing, and a long-lasting battery life. The Wave Pro X aims to deliver an enhanced audio experience with its DCAA acoustic architecture, which incorporates two independently tuned dynamic drivers and high-purity voice coils to ensure a broad soundstage and detailed audio across various frequencies.
The headphones are equipped with an advanced noise cancellation system that utilizes an eight-microphone array and real-time processing to adapt to environmental conditions and minimize external noise. The hybrid ANC system is specifically designed to offer users a seamless listening experience whether they’re enjoying music or other audio content. Additionally, the Wave Pro X boasts impressive battery life, offering up to 90 hours of playback, or up to 50 hours when noise cancellation is active. A quick 15-minute charge can further provide up to 10 hours of use, highlighting the device’s convenience for users on the go.
Designed with user comfort in mind, the Wave Pro X features a foldable design and memory-foam earcups, making them suitable for prolonged wear. Connectivity is another highlight, with Bluetooth multipoint technology allowing seamless switching between devices, as well as the option for a 3.5mm wired connection with a hi-res bypass feature. According to EarFun CEO White Wang, the development of the Wave Pro X focused on enhancing sound quality, noise cancellation, comfort, connectivity, and battery performance, rather than prioritizing a single feature.
In addition to the Wave Pro X, EarFun offered a sneak peek at its upcoming Air Pro 5 true wireless earbuds. These earbuds are set to feature improved sound tuning, active noise cancellation, and adaptive processing. The company revealed it collaborated with engineers from Bose Corporation’s Audio Technology business for acoustic engineering services, specifically in ANC modeling, tuning, and validation. Details regarding the specifications and availability of the Air Pro 5 are anticipated to be announced at a later date.
The EarFun Wave Pro X headphones are now available for purchase globally through EarFun’s official website and Amazon, with prices set at €149.99, $129.99, and £119.99.
